The overall performance is great, especially the screen,voice and mapping features. The glass brace holder for the unit has a good solid base and stand, which does not drop off the glass and moves in different angels for easy viewing.  Directions were very precise, no hazzles or other issues here. It also includes street markings and directions of private compounds which was very awesome.  They are no problems with detecting satellites and the unit is always giving feedback and in contact with satellites.

This gps model updates routes almost instantaneously: I was driving behind a friend on a couple trips who took some different routes with this GPS and it recalculated in a matter of seconds. The price is unbeatable for this just because it’s a refurbish, don’t stay away. It really looks brand new. I wouldn’t have known if they had not told me that it was refurbished.

The nuvi 255w is a great, reliable GPS that does everything you’ll ever need. Actually, Amazon has great price on these. If you are planning to purchase an entry level GPS, you should seriously consider this one compared to the others.  Garmin’s features and routing capabilities are almost always better than the other brands. I highly recommend this gps model because of the overall great performance and relative ease of use.

The multi-point destination, which I was looking forward to, is great to have.  Having the speed limit available while driving has also been very useful. This model is reliable. I love how fast it recalculates your path if you take a different route. It’s so easy to use it almost does it by itself. It’s amazing!

It is simple to use and does pretty well on the navigation. The traffic feature is awsome, it is accurate and simple to understand.

Amazon has done it again! That is where I found my Garmin GPS. It was a great value, and a fantastic product. I love its portability. The instructional voice is distinct. The maps are updated, colorful and clear. The screen size is just large enough.

I don’t think you can go wrong with a Garmin, at the price Amazon has now it is about $150 less than what I paid, it’s accurate and a great help when driving in unfamiliar areas. Its totally a lot better than my TomTom One I had. It actually speaks the street names, tells you what side of the street your location/destination is on.
